151 (September 2023) is pure Kanto nostalgia executed properly: every one of the original 151 Pokemon in one set, in National Pokedex order, with the era's best-received artwork. It's the set that pulled lapsed collectors back into the hobby, and it behaves more like an evergreen product than a rotation-era expansion.

What Collectors Chase

The Special Illustration Rare starter trio of Charizard ex #199, Blastoise ex #200 and Venusaur ex #198 anchors the set, and the poster-style Mew cards plus the SIR Alakazam and Zapdos fill out the chase list. Because the set is nostalgia-driven, even its commons hold unusual binder demand: people genuinely complete this one.

151 is one of the few modern sets where completing the base set is a satisfying, affordable project, and where sealed product (especially booster bundles) has a durable buyer pool.
